3 Day Disneyland Resort visit recommendation:
Day 1 = Disneyland, Day 2 = Cal Adventure, Day 3 = leftover and favourite Disneyland attractions

The following attractions can be visited in the order listed. However, skip the ones with lower ratings or that don’t fit into the time you have, and visit the ones on subjects that do interest you – even if rated lowly.
Once you’ve seen all the rating 5/5 and 4/5 attractions, start Re-riding attractions you like and see 3/5 attractions.

Ratings:

5/5 = don’t miss it!
4/5 = good fun, highly recommended.
3/5 = ok, do if queue is <10mins, or after done all the above
2/5 = only do if you’ve done all the ‘better’ attractions
1/5 = nah, skip it

Disneyland Park, CA

Critter Country

5/5 Splash Mountain – a great family ride to open your eyes to the Disney way of entertaining
3/5 Many Adventures of Winnie Pooh – Kidyish but will entertain for a couple of mins.
1/5 Explorer Canoes – take the paddle boat if you want to go round the lake

New Orleans Square

5/5 Haunted Mansion – amazing FX, not scary.
5/5 Pirates of the Caribbean – all time classic ride the movies were based on.

Adventureland

2/5 Tarzans Tree house – lost of stairs, static display.
5/5 Indiana Jones Adventure – rough ride but true Indy action!
3/5 Jungle Cruise – Most ‘realistic’ at night (spotlighting), puns of skipper fun.
2/5 Enchanted Tiki Room – Strange show of singing birds

Frontierland

2/5 The Golden Horseshoe – fun country ‘can can’ stage show but better stuff elsewhere
2/5 Mark Twain Riverboat – sedate with only a few surprises
4/5 Big Thunder Mtn Railroad – fun roller coaster, even better at night.

2/5 Sleeping beauty castles – You can walk through the archway but also inside and over the archway.
2/5 Snow White Scary Adventure – an indoor story telling ride
2/5 Pinocchio’s Daring Journey – an indoor story telling ride
1/5 Casey Jnr train – train trip around miniature models, 3/5 for kids
1/5 Storybook Land – boat trip around miniature models, 3/5 for kids
3/5 Mr Toads Wild ride – fun indoor story telling ride

3/5 Monorail – take a breather and get an aerial view
3/5 Innovations – if you’re into technology then check this display out
3/5 Captain EO 3D – A Michael Jackson 3D musical space movie
5/5 Space Mountain – A wild roller coaster through space – yeeehaaa!
5/5 Star Tours – Star Wars themed simulator with a different adventure each ride - and in 3D!
4/5 Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters – Laser shooting gallery ride where different targets are worth different scores.
2/5 Astro Orbitor – what you see is what you get. 4/5 for kids

Main Street

3/5 Train – There’s an old, but classic, surprise between Tommorowland and Main Street stations
2/5 Great moment with Mr Lincoln – He’s alive! Feeling patriotic??
2/5 Disney Gallery – If you’re interested in the Disney park planning process (sketches, models etc)
1/5 Main Street Cinema – Old Mickey flicks
1/5 Main Street vehicles – like catching a bus.

Shows / Parades

6/5 Fantasmic! – A truly amazing night show DON’T MISS IT!!
4/5 Magic, Memories, You! – some cool projection effects
2/5 Other Parades – If you like parades, then soak it up . . . I don’t.
5/5 Fireworks – watch it form main street, with the crowds.

Food
There is a wide variety of restaurants Disney puts effort into. A couple of recommendation to check out are:

The Downtown Disney (in- between both parks) Rainforest café for a unique eating experience.
The Blue Bayou, in Disneyland near Pirates of the Caribbean, needs booking, up to days in advance. Call (714) 781-3463 for bookings before hand.
There is a Dennies, McDonalds, iHop and more restaurants/café’s outside the park on Sth Harbour blv.

4/5 Terminator 2 3D – haven’t done it but no doubt is intense.
